Here is your chance to get a brand new TCI 1953-1956 Ford F-100 Pickup completechassis. This chassis will fit any53-56 F-100 short wheelbase pickup or panel.The chassis is built from brand newrails making it much stronger than a reworked stock frame. All body mountand running board holes are threaded for the proper size fastenersandare in the factory locationsThat means that whatever body you are installing the proper mounting holes are present. Engine and transmission mounts are installed for Ford or Chevrolet small block engines withany Ford or GM transmission. Other engine mounts are optional. It hasa 114" wheelbase. Overall length is 180.5". Width is 59". Hub to hub width is 60" front and rear or you can specify rear end width. Total weight is 800#.
The front suspension is TCI'sproven Mustang IIIFS. Thefront suspension features: Heavy duty cross-member, 1" upper and 1 1/8" lower tubular A-arms with new ball joints and bushings installed, It includes a power rack & pinion steering gear. It has 2" dropped spindles, new OEM tie rods ends and a 1.0" diameter sway bar.For a great ride itfeatures heavy duty gas charged shocks with black powder coated coil springs. The spindle/brake assemblies are assembled with the bearings packed with hi-temp grease and brake calipers and pads installed. It has 11" smooth rotors with 4.75" Chevrolet bolt circle and GM big bore calipers for great stopping power.
Running board brackets are included for a perfect fit of your cab and running boards. It fitsboth stepside or fleetside short boxes.
The rear suspension has a brand new Currie 9" housing and now with new31 spline alloy axles at no extra chargewith your choice of gear ratios in theCurrie 9+ positraction differential. It features 11" drum brakes on the rear. It has a heavy duty Parabolic 2 leaf spring rear suspension withgas charged shocks for a great ride. It has a pedal assembly witha free upgrade to a 8" dual diaphragm power brake booster with a Corvette master cylinder. Brake lines are plumbed with stainless steel line with aluminum AN fittingsand mounted with billet line clamps. An adjustable Wilwood proportioning valveand Wilwood residual check valves are installed for proper brake balance. Included are front and rear stainless steel brake hoses. It even includesa chrome brake pedal pad, a quart of silicon brake fluid and 3 quarts of rear end lube.
The chassis shown has been painted for illustration purposes. The actual chassis is bare steel so you can paint or powder coat it your desired color.
Build time is about 4-6 weeks and transit time is usually 5-7 days
This chassis must be shipped by truck. Freight isusually $1000-1500 depending upon how far you arefrom TCI's factory in Ontario, California. It can be shipped to a business or your nearest freight terminal for best shipping cost or it can be shipped directly to your house. It canbe pickedup at the TCI factory in Ontario, California to save freight but you would have to pay 8% California sales tax.
