Audi teases the new Q2 before its Geneva revealing

Audi made it no secret that they have a new model due at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show next month and they even teased it to the point to where most would get that it’s the new Q2 subcompact luxury crossover.

Ingolstadt’s intended BMW X1 competitor has been in the works for quite some time as Audi announce long ago that they wanted to expand their crossover lineup. The Q2 would be the latest model.

Essentially a lifted A2, it rides on the same flexible MQB modular platform that underpins other small Audis like the A3 and the new Volkswagen Tiguan.

It’ll be powered by a range of three- and four-cylinder gas engines, complete with a snail attached on all versions, with a plug-in hybrid version joining later on. As of now, diesels haven’t been mentioned for obvious reasons.
