Report: Mopar’s former SRT chief, Ralph Gilles, envisions a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat

We all have our daydreams every now and then…for instance, I literally took 15 minutes from my time of writing this post to procrastinate “take a break” and see what the market was like for one of my dream cars.

So needless to say, it shouldn’t be much of a surprise to hear of some automotive big-shots doing the same. Despite the overall perception that automakers are sometimes being run to the ground by retarded bean-counters, Mr. Ralph Gilles, formerly of Chrysler’s SRT brand, proved time over time that he’s not one of them.

He’s a car guy, through and through and further proving this was his recent tweet of his table-based drawing of a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat. Now, only a car guy like Gilles would be able to be so enticed by an idea such as this.

Chrysler proved that they’re more than capable of blowing minds with the latest Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcat siblings and there’s confirmation of even a limited-production Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8-based Hellcat version of the SUV called the Trackhawk.

So, why not go hard or go home with the ideas, and Hellcat everything!

Just imagine…that pretty damn-good looking Chrysler Pacifica replacement for the Town & Country, plus a Hellcat powertrain with the same supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8 as the Challenger and Charger…Because, why not?

Though obviously as cool of an idea as it is, there really is no reason for them to make it. But then again, they could always pull a Volkswagen and build a one-off concept just for fun, like VW did with their mid-engined Golf W12 ridiculousness.
