Photo Rendering: This representation of an Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe is something that needs to happen

The graphic artists over at WorldCarFans / Motor1 recently produced a mockup of what appears to be a digital rendering of an Alfa Romeo Giulia-based coupe.

And from the idea and clean rendering alone, this is something that obviously needs to happen.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan is already one gorgeous piece of sheetmetal and it with a sleeker profile and two less doors, it even gets better.

But let’s think about this logically as well from a business standpoint, with where Fiat and Alfa plan to go with the Giulia.

They want the Giulia to compete directly against the BMW 3-Series and friends. This is apart of Alfa’s plan to be a direct competitor to the best luxury brands from Europe, Japan, and America. That said, if Alfa wants to compete head-to-head with BMW, they have to produce equally competitive models.

So while the Giulia competes with the 3-Series, a coupe version would help them compete with the BMW 4-Series and such.

We like that idea, how about you?
