The facelifted Kia Forte sedan gets revealed for the Korean market

Kia recently revealed an updated Forte sedan, which they call the K3 in the Korean Domestic Market. Regardless of that, it gives us a sneak-peak of the Forte sedan for the US market that’s due for a reveal at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

In addition to the usual mixture of exterior and interior updates to keep the model fresh, the Korean Domestic Market K3 can be seen with an extensive list of changes. They include the typical headlight and taillight redesign with new LED patterns, along with reworked front and rear bumpers.

The inside also gains some revisions to the dashboard design, along with a new steering wheel design and an updated infotainment system.

Full details weren’t released just quite, especially for the US-spec model. But the Korean version is expected to get the typical range of gas and diesel inline-fours, carried over from the original Forte sedan of this generation.

Regardless, the US version will be fully detailed when it gets revealed in Detroit.
