Land Rover confirms public debut of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible at Los Angeles w/ video
Following the wire-frame scale model teaser of the new Range Rover Evoque Convertible in the heart of London, the British luxury crossover firm announced and confirmed the public debut of the Evoque droptop at the 2015 Los Angeles International Auto Show in November.
To further tease the impending Range Rover Evoque Convertible’s arrival, which they claim is the world’s first vehicle of its type, Land Rover launched a video overviewing the final stages of testing at their proving grounds, to showcase the Evoque Convertible’s on- and off-road prowess, despite its humdrum appearance.
And while it’s great that the Evoque Convertible still embodies the essence of off-road capabilities Land Rover’s known for, you’d probably want to do any sort of serious mudding or trailing with the top up and windows close, to avoid dirtying the plus interior, especially if you plan on testing the Evoque Convertible’s 500mm of water wading ability.
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be launched in November while its worldly public debut will happen at the Staples Center for the LA show.
