Auctions: Don Draper’s 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille could be yours

If you’ve been wishing you were as cool as the one and only Don Draper in AMC’s Mad Men, then here might be your grand chance to own the very car the Mr. Draper drove himself.

For those not familiar with the popular TV drama series, Mr. Draper sported a 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, which, for a man of his stature, is perfectly fitting to his image.

Additionally, it’s an icon of its time, spanning over 18-feet long and weighing surprisingly only 4,600lbs, the 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille needed a massive, carbureated  7.0L V8 with around 340hp on tap, mated to a sturdy three-speed automatic, to get going. It was and still is a symbol of pure American luxury, one that returns no more than an average of seven miles to the gallon.
