Video + Poll: Watch BMW indulge themselves by celebrating 40 years of the 3-Series

The BMW 3-Series is indubitably one of the most iconic cars ever made and it’s impressive already to see that it’s endured over 40 years and six generations. It will enter the seventh when it gets completely redesigned in a few years.

Of course, Munich knows this and to celebrate, they released a new promotional video that overviews the history of the 3-Series.

Other than being filled with the usual fanfare and brand propaganda of self-indulgence usually expected in manufacturer-produced promotional videos, the tidbit provides a glimpse into the history of the 3er and provide some good eye candy involving some classic models.
