Test Drive: 2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet by AutoNation

Audi has gone to many many far lengths just to fill pretty much every gap and niche in existence with the automotive market.

This latest A3 Cabriolet is no different, serving up entry-level droptop fun in a compact package.

What’s its competition? Not much really, but traditionally, the A3 competes against the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class, the BMW 2-Series, and the Acura ILX just to name a few. But where are their droptop versions?

Either way, the A3, like many other Audis, can add up in cost as you check more boxes in the options list, sometimes upselling you to a larger and more expensive model. So, is the A3 worth it? Or is it worth it just to move up to the A5 convertible?
