Report: Porsche supposedly confirms next-gen Panamera

Porsche’s CEO apparently confirmed the arrival of the next-generation Panamera, due sometime in 2016.

IndianAutosBlog found out about the new arrival at the 2015 Geneva Auto Show, where they spoke to Matthias Muller.

Muller didn’t say much, except for the fact that the new Panamera will have an “evolutionary design” that’s based on the current model. Pretty ambiguous, but it should be indicative of what to expect–and that’s a Panamera with some new looks, kit, and kaboodle.

The new Panamera is destined to ride on Volkswagen’s latest MSB platform using aluminum and high-strength steel. Expect the usual mixture of V6 and V8 mills of the gas and diesel type while overall, the new Panamera should weigh 200lbs less than the current model.
