Report: The next Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe to surface at Frankfurt
Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to reveal the new C-Class Coupe a the Frankfurt MotorShow later this fall.
AutoCar heard the news after speaking with AMG’s boss, Tobias Moers. There will also be a C63 AMG version shown next to the new C Coupe.
Like the previous model of C-Class coupe, the new model should resemble the sedan very closely, just with two less doors and a sleeker profile. It should also resemble its larger brother, the S-Class Coupe.
As of now, it appears a droptop version should also surface. But what shouldn’t be a surprise is the expectation for the same use of powertrains and transmissions as the sedan.
