Test Drive: 2015 Mazda3 by AutoNation

The Mazda3 has been a perennial favorite in the compact segment, battling it out against the likes of the Ford Focus, the Volkswagen Golf, the Honda Civic, the Hyundai Elantra, and so on.

But unlike some of its competition, the Mazda3 can be had in both a sedan and a five-door hatchback. But regardless of its body form, it’s still a very excellent vehicle to drive that’s well equipped and well built. It also is proof that Mazda can succeed without the bolstering help of a major automaker behind its back, like Ford was, for the last several decades.

Altogether, the Mazda3 is one of those cars that seriously needs to be considered, should you be in the market for a fun-driving, practical and frugal compact car.

See what our colleagues at AutoNation have to say, and to no surprise, you should find that they agree.
