Video: MotorTrend pegs the latest Chevy Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3

MotorTrend recently got around to pinning the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 against the latest Porsche 911 GT3 in their latest episode of Head2Head.

Now, in all fairness, this may seem like a rather lop-sided comparison, and even MotorTrend admits that.

As a refresher, the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 comes with a whopping 7.0L V8 lifted straight from the last-generation Corvette Z06 to make 505hp and 481 lb-ft of twist with a six-speed manual while the Porsche has a thoroughbred 3.8L flat-six with 475hp and 324 lb-ft of torque with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Let’s also not forget, the Camaro is a heavyweight champion when compared to the Porsche’s agile figure-skater physique. But either way, both have some serious performance figures and the outcome may or may not surprise you. Check it out after the jump.
