Report: Next-gen Audi A7 to feature more “radical” design

AutoCar in the UK reports Audi is looking to get more emotion out of the next-gen A7’s aesthetics, according to Audi’s chief of design, Marc Lichte.

Lichte says the design for the new A7 is complete, featuring lots of design cues and inspiration from the latest Prologue Concept from the LA Auto Show. Additionally, the next A8 also gets its visual inspiration from the Prologue, which was specifically designed to preview Audi’s future design language for all future models of the next generation.

Audi’s design team also promises to make their future models look more separable from each other, unlike current lineup where it’s easy to confuse an A6 and an A4, unless you look at them side-by-side or at their badge. Either way, times are changing and we can’t wait.
