Report: Mini is still contemplating a production version of Superleggera Vision Concept

The last we heard about the Mini Superleggera Vision Concept was that it was potentially going to be approved for production. AutoCar spoke specifically with BMW’s board member, Peter Schwarzenbauer, who said, “We are not sure yet – the volume is low and how many open cars do you need in a range,” despite there being “extremely positive reaction.”

However, Mini’s current trajectory involves “simpler interiors” and electric powertrains for future models. So from the sounds of it Mini’s currently deciding on which project to embark on next.
