Report: Audi hints at new crossover EV for 2017
Audi’s CEO, Rupert Sadler, recently spoke with Bloomberg, who said Ingolstadt is preparing a new crossover EV for 2017, most likely as a response to Tesla Motors’ incoming Model X crossover.
According to the report, this said crossover SUV comes after the R8 e-tron, though it is still currently undergoing research and development.
Stadler of course didn’t specify, though speculation does point and hint at the rumored Q7 or Q8 e-tron as the crossover in question.
