Report: Range Rover Evoque Cabrio could arrive next year

Some rumors surfaced in the past of a possible new cabrio version to the Range Rover Evoque in a sort of experimental Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet kind of way.

Now, we don’t shun experimentation at all, but given the success of the Murano CrossCabriolet, we doubt the world needs another abomination of this sort.

Either way, a concept was revealed in 2012 at the Geneva Auto Show and feedback was positive enough for Land Rover to transfer it to production. AutoCar even spotted the model testing in various test mule forms in the UK.

Nothing’s been officially announced as of yet, but the new Evoque Cabrio could come with Land Rover’s new line of Ingenium engines.
