Report: The Lamborghini Urus probably won’t be built in Italy
CarAdvice in Australia recently heard through the grapevine that the new Lamborghini Urus crossover in all likelihood won’t be made in Italy, but rather at Volkswagen Group’s Slovakia plant, where the next-gen Porsche Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg, and Audi Q7 will be made.

This makes perfect sense considering the fact that the Volkswagen Group is consolidating their entire lineup of premium crossovers onto on modular platform.
Word comes from Volkswagen Group and Lamborghini’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, who said the Urus is set to be ready by 2017 and should help Lamborghini with sales.
