Report: The Lotus Evora to continue selling in US after rumors of being removed

Rumors were abound regarding Lotus and the Evora in the US. And those rumors suggested the Evora was on a limited time table before being pulled from the US market for apparently not meeting new federal safety regulations.

However, those rumors were false–sort of. There will be a 2016 model year Evora, but for 2015, the Evora also goes on a one year hiatus because the Evora doesn’t meet smart airbag regulations for safety. Lotus is working on a solution and says the Evora should pick back up again for the year afterwards.
