Report: Alfa Romeo preparing new 6C based off of Maserati Alfieri

Alfa Romeo is apparently looking to get in on some of the midsize luxury sports coupe action with a new front-engined 6C model based off of the incoming production Maserati Alfieri.

AutoExpress in the UK learned of the possibility, but specifics as usual are very sparse. The Alfa Romeo is expected to be as much of a looker as the Alfieri, considering the Italians aren’t strangers for very memorable and stunning visual designs.

Power could be supplied by a Maserati-sourced 3.0L twin-turbo V6 with around 500hp.
