Report: Chrysler could drop 300 SRT over slow sales

A saddening bit of news surfaced for Mopar fans recently as Chrysler is apparently struggling to sell its 300 SRT sedan. As a result, the model could be dropped in the near future, according to CEO Al Gardner.

MotorTrend spoke with Gardner who said that only 75 models per month are being sold, crippling the business case for such a model. This is particularly unfortunate since the we absolutely love the 300 SRT.

The model on the other hand happens to be popular overseas, such as in the Middle East. Either way, the fate of the 300 SRT should be confirmed when the Chrysler 300 sedan gets updated for the mid-cycle at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show.
