Renowned actor and car enthusiast, James Garner, passes at age of 86

Renowned Hollywood actor and bonafide car enthusiast, James Garner, recently passed away at the age of 86, leaving behind a long legacy of cars and Hollywood that’s as rich and grandiose as others from the likes of Steve McQueen.

Garner is said to have died of natural causes. He was known for his roles on various television shows and movies. Examples include The Rockford Files and Grand Prix of 1966, which catapulted his interest and love for cars and motorsports. He then participated in being a part owner of the American International Racers team, who competed in Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring for various endurance races. Garner himself also took part in events like the Baja 500.

To many, he’ll be known as a source of inspiration and will be sorely missed.
