Report: Bentley confirmed to produce a Mulsanne Speed

Bentley is reportedly working on its brand image by being a standard of “sporting luxury,” ushered in by the recent Continental GT3 from not too long ago. Another example of this effort is the recent Continental GT Speed, a more high-performance yet, still luxurious version of said Continental. And to continue with the trend, AutoExpress apparently learned that the Flying B is looking to Speed up its Mulsanne as well, continuing with a previous rumor.

It will debut at the Paris Auto Show later this year with a more potent version of its twin-turbo 6.75L V8 engine with around 550bhp on tap. A 0-62 time of less than five seconds is expected for a top speed of at least 200 mph.

In addition to the extra grunt under the long hood, the Mulsanne Speed will gain sportier suspension and a quicker steering rack. Don’t forget the usual dollop of exterior changes as well.
