Report: Next Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman to be built by Brabus…?

German media, Automobilewoche, reports that Mercedes-Benz may resort to having renowned coachbuilder Brabus build the new and highly-anticipated incoming S-Class Pullman limo.

The new limo is expected to revive the Pullman name, harking back to the days of the original 600 from the 1960s. It will be built to compete against the next Rolls-Royce Phantom and the Bentley Mulsanne. A window sticker price of around $1 million is expected.

Not much else is known specifically, but Mercedes-Benz has a history of contracting outside partners for special and unique projects–remember the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR?
