Offbeat: A LaFerrari meets a Volkswagen Golf…but not in a good way

It seems the inevitable has just occurred as a first customer-owned super rare and super exotic LaFerrari recently collided with a Volkswagen Golf in Monaco.

The airbags in both cars appear to have deployed, meaning this was no fender bender…though it wasn’t entirely a life-threatening collision either.

No injuries were reported, but both cars, especially the LaFerrari, look to have sustained considerable front end damage. There’s no indication as to where the blame goes, but regardless, the LaFerrari ain’t gonna be cheap to fix.

This isn’t the first reported crash in a LaFerrari as a prototype model was rear-ended by a truck last year in November.
