Video: AutoCar pins a Jaguar F-Type Coupe R against the Nissan GT-R

AutoCar of the UK recently had the opportunity to pin the all-new drop-dead sexy Jaguar F-Type Coupe R against the Nissan GT-R…and they got it all on film.

The plan: race them against each other in a time trial battle. Both boast around 540hp, though the Jaguar has two more cylinders and thus more torque. It also has less weight because of rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic. The GT-R on the other hand has all-wheel drive and six-speeds to make do with.
