Report: Chinese-made Volvos may make it stateside…would you buy one?

Word via Reuters is that Volvo is preparing to send some Chinese-made models to the US. And in that report, specifics point to a possible arrival of the long-wheelbase S60L for our shores while the Chinese-made XC90 could be exported to Russia.

After speaking with a senior Volvo executive, the news outlet also learned that the company plans to export 10,000 S60Ls annually to the US. Said executive, who goes unnamed, did acknowledge the concern for quality issues. Though before anything happens, the brand is seeking to remedy all issues and concerns that may exist with quality control.
