Report: Super-hot Bentley Continental GT expected at Goodwood with 700hp

Word from AutoCar is that Bentley is planning to prepare a super-hot 700hp Bentley Continental GT for the Goodwood Festival of Speed–a rather fitting time to reveal such a concept.

Last year, Bentley introduced their Continental GT3 racer and apparently, the new Continental GT headed to the festival this year is the road-going version of that car. Several spy mules have been seen testing their capabilities at the Nurburgring.

Weight savings are to be expected as well with helping from the use of carbon fiber throughout the body construction. Bentley’s engineers are also said to be fine-tuning the model for it to be the most track-focused Bentley Continental GT available for public roads.

Production is said to be limited at 30 units and they’ve all been acquired by 30 lucky British buyers.
