Photo Leak: The second generation BMW X6 gets some web time before debut

Some seemingly official stock photos of the redesigned and second generation 2015 BMW X6 surfaced on the web recently, which can only mean the Munich-based automaker is planning for a reveal very soon on the Internet.

As you can see visually, the new 2015 BMW X6 expectedly takes cues from the redesigned X5 as of recent. Some of these details include a more angular front-end with LED-infused headlights and taillights, adding to a much more aggressive allure than the outgoing model. Despite the bump in creases and folds, the new X6 manages to look more cohesive and refined than the outgoing model.

Like the current X6, the new X6 is expected to take its powerplants from the current X5, ranging from a 300hp 3.0L TwinPower turbo inline-six as well as the top-notch non-M 4.4L TwinPower Turbo V8 good for nearly 445hp. We can of course expect an M-ified version of the X6, but that will undoubtedly come later in the car’s lifecycle.

Either way, until the official reveal, check out the pics in our high-res gallery.
