Report: Chevrolet confirms that a new Corvette is already being developed

The current Chevrolet Corvette was just released last year and launched this year, which means its hear to stay for the next six to eight years. But that hasn’t stopped General Motors from beginning work on the next generation C7 model.

After speaking with GM’s current executive vice president for Global Product Development, Mark Reuss, The Detroit Free Press learned that the new Corvette is already being developed. Possibilities such as an EV model or a hybrid aren’t impossible for the next generation as everyone else seems to be jumping on that bandwagon.

Of course, it’s too early to tell as to what’s going to happen. But either way, this shouldn’t surprise you either.
