Word via CAR is that Ferrari will be introducing a facelifted turbocharged version of the 458 Italia in order to stick with the automaker’s latest plan to launch a new model every four years with a subsequent “M” version, which will last another four years.
Details have been kept to a minimum, but CAR supposedly learned that the new turbocharged engine will displace 3.8L versus the current and naturally-aspirated model’s 4.5L V8. The new mill will also produce around 670hp–a whopping 108hp more than the outgoing model. 0-62 mph times are expected to drop to below 3.4 seconds for a top speed of 202 mph.
