Report: Porsche preparing a Cayman GT4, a Turbo S with 700hp and e-Hybrid tech

MotorTrend learned that Porsche may be in the works with some high-performance variants to the Cayman and Boxster, which could carry a GT4 badge. The models would go in line with the 911 GT3 and GT2, meaning that they’ll most likely be stripped down and more powerful versions.

Power is likely to be supplied by either a turbo flat-four or a more potent flat-six, though nothing has been confirmed. Additionally, word is that Porsche may introduce a hybridized version to the 911 Turbo S, which will make it the most powerful 911 available, packing more than 700hp, utilizing hybrid tech from the 918 Spyder.
