2014 Beijing: Honda introduces new Concept B in China

Honda brought a new compact five-door designed only for the Chinese market, known as the Concept B. It resembles a compact hatchback that will be geared towards the young Chinese audience when it goes on sale sometime in 2016.

The compact five-door will receive a range of four-cylinder engines, including a hybrid powerplant.  The Concept B itself features a very dramatic design with lots of angles and very pronounced front-grille and a gynormous H-badge. The roof is very coupe-like and thus heavily raked with pronounced wheel wells and a hatch-like rear.

Honda didn’t say whether or not the Concept B will be seen on a global level. Additionally, the brand said that they’re currently still developing the interior.
