A new report is in from Bloomberg, who learned that Maserati could approve the Alfieri Concept for production as early as next month. Previous reports indicated that Fiat’s CEO, Sergio Marchionne, hinted that the Alfieri will be made.
According to “sources” within the company, Marchionne could announce the official plan on May 6. Additionally, it will be built next to the all-new Levante crossover in Mirafiori.
Rumors point to the use of the brand’s current twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 good for 324hp and 403hp form, rather than the concept’s 4.7L V8.
