Land Rover has apparently been quietly hinting at the introduction of a new concept, last minute, at the New York Auto Show later this week. That concept apparently is the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept, which previews the next-generation and way overdue redesign of the midsize Discovery, also known as the LR4 here in the states.
The new concept visibly adopts Land Rover’s latest global design language, first made apparent on the Range Rover Evoque, the standard Range Rover, and the Range Rover Sport. The front is rounded like most of Land Rover’s stable today, with protruding, yet refined wheel arches, and clean curves and angles.
Altogether, this really gets us excited for the next generation Discovery. The new Discovery will also feature Land Rover’s latest innovation with the “disappearing” engine hood. What do you think so far? Let us know in the comments.
