Report: Kia looking to expand Soul lineup with a coupe

Word via CARandDRIVER is that Kia is looking to expand their Soul lineup. Specifics for a model haven’t been quite decided upon just yet, though the report indicates that Kia could be leaning towards a two-door version of the Soul crossover.

A Kia Soul coupe was hinted previously with the Kia Track-ster Concept of 2012, revealed at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. Along with the Track-ster Concept came the rumor that a high-performance 2.0L turbocharged four-banger good for 250hp might also find its way under the hood of the Soul.

Concrete plans of course are still unclear and it is still unknown as to whether or not Kia will decide to produce more variants to the Soul. The last additional variant to the Soul lineup was the Kia Soul EV.
