Spy Shots: The 2015 Hyundai Sonata sneaks onto the web from the factory in South Korea

A Korean website was able to snag a picture of what appears to be the 2015 Hyundai Sonata, which is due very soon for a complete redesign.

The new Sonata was teased from Hyundai worldwide themselves not too long ago, hinting at the latest use of the brand’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language, and that’s very visible in both the teaser and this spy photo.

The headlights take on a more pronounced and squared design as found on the 2015 Genesis. The front bumper and sculpted hood make for a more muscular appearance, while the roofline appears to be virtually the same in its raked nature.

Technical specifications are unknown, though you can most likely expect the typical use of Hyundai Gamma four-bangers in entry-level 2.4L form with a new 1.6L turbocharged motor. Power has been speculated to be around 201hp and 195 lb-ft of torque.
