Report: Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake to cost $133,000 over in the UK
Though we will not likely get this car over here in the ‘States, it’s always fun to wish for. Aimed squarely at the AMG, RS, and Motorsport equivalent wagons, the 542 horsepower Jag wagon picks up about 240 pounds over it’s sedan counterpart, but through the use of self-leveling suspension, should be very similar to drive when compared to the sedan. Power comes from a supercharged 5 liter V8 producing 542 horsepower and 502 ft-lbs of torque. 0-60 happens in 4.6 seconds, and the relatively demure looking wagon should have no trouble getting up and over 180 mph.
A source at Jaguar says that it will cost somewhere around £80,000, a little bit more than the £77,885 that the equivalent Merc costs. But, if you accidentally spend well over $130K on a fast wagon based on the already excellent XFR-S sedan, your life will be interesting at least in one dimension.
