LeftLaneNews reports that Nissan will be revealing an all-new completely redesigned Murano, sans the CrossCabriolet variant, at the 2014 New York International Auto Show this coming April. It will ride on the same unibody platform as the current Altima and crossover-like Pathfinder.
Dimensions were described to be the same with styling expected to be incorporating Nissan’s latest design philosophy while the Murano will still be offered with the brand’s usual 3.5L VQ V6 mated to a CVT. Rumors have also been floating around regarding a suspected hybrid version with a 2.5L supercharged four-banger and an electric motor, similar to the setup on the current Pathfinder Hybrid. Total output for that system is 250hp and 243 lb-ft of torque.
