Video: Watch the McLaren P1 tear up the Green Hell

McLaren released a pretty serious video of their insane P1 lapping the world’s most difficult closed racing circuit, the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Penned as the spiritual successor to the infamous McLaren F1, the McLaren P1 is by virtue, batshit insane fast.

And you can see some tidbits of the McLaren P1 lapping the Green Hell. As a refresher, the P1 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8L V8 mated to an electric motor. Combined output is rated at 916hp and 663 lb-ft of torque.
