Audi’s current A4 has been with us since 2007. That said, now that the proverbial segment leader—the BMW 3-Series—has been revamped for the new generation, as did Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Audi are gearing up to make the next moves.
More specifically, the Audi A4 will supposedly focus more on technology and efficiency for the new generation, according to a new report from Auto Motor und Sport. It will have more “muscular” styling and a “three-dimensional” grille—whatever that means since the world we live in is by default, three-dimensional.
Not much else is known, other than the introduction of a new MMI infotainment system, heads-up display capability and more integrated information. Engines will range with a series of gasoline and diesel four-cylinders.
