Report: General Motors recalls 22k 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups

General Motors has just issued a recall, already, for its 2014 model year Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups, due to a fault with the front-seats, which can move if nudged from behind.

According to the report from AutomotiveNews, the models with manual adjustable seats are the only ones affected—nearly 22,000 vehicles. Majority of the affected models were sold in the US—18,972 units specifically—while the remaining 2,575 models were Canadian, with 103 units being sold in Mexico. 71 other units sold outside North America were also affected.

No accidents or injuries were reported, though by default, General Motors will fix the defect free of charge.
