The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is still sinking into the world of normality as it gets phased in, replacing the outgoing generation. That said, there should be no surprise that other variants of the S-Class are just beginning to trickle their way into the market.

The next variants due for launch are the all-new 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG and S600 V12 super land yachts on wheels. According to a new report from Automobile, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG is set to debut at the 2013 Los Angeles auto show in November, while the 2015 S600 will follow at next year’s Detroit auto show.
Both cars will of course use twin-turbocharged V12s, virtually unchanged from the outgoing versions, which means the 65 V12 will most likely produce the same 621hp and Earth-stopping 738 lb-ft of torque. The 600 model is expected to produce the same 510hp and 612 lb-ft of torque as well.
Hints also point to the use of 4MATIC all-wheel drive only for the S65, much like the S63 AMG, which would be beneficial to help laying that power to the ground. Though the S600 is apparently going to be offered with rear-wheel drive only.
Expect a sales launch of both vehicles in early summer 2014.
