Scion confirmed to be standardizing the color touchscreen infotainment interface across all of its models for the 2014 models. In lieu of this, they claim to be the first non-luxury car brand to feature a touchscreen audio system as standard on all models.
The screen itself is 6.1-inches in size and offers terrestrial and satellite radio capability with a CD/MP3 player, hands-free phone capability—to keep you young asses from using the phone while driving—Bluetooth wireless audio streaming, and AUX/USB iPod connectivity.
A BeSpoke Premium Audio upgrade is available, which also increases the functionality of the system by offering GPS, social media app integration, and other Internet-based connectivity. The option runs for $1,198 for all models.
Scion also updated the rest of its lineup with some minor tweaks and upgrades, along with some very minor hikes in pricing. Additionally, a limited edition iQ goes on sale, some two-tone color options get offered for the xD and more.
