Report: TVR is BACK to bring on the awesome after being acquired by British businessman

Some new reports are out confirming that TVR will be bringing back the awesome as the automobile division was just reacquired by the British from the hands of Russian tycoon and now former owner, Nikolai Smolensky. The TVR Automotive Ltd. name, along with rights to manufacture parts for existing cars, were bought by a man by the name of Les Edgar, a businessman from Surrey in the United Kingdom.

Additionally, TVR recently updated their homepage with the phrase “never say never.” Recently, it was just changed to “roaring back…” Though Edgar reportedly was under a strict non-disclosure agreement and thus was unable to share any details on timing.

He did confidently boast that he was up to the challenge, “There’s a lot of planning and forethought that’s gone into this. Watch this space.”

Now I don’t know about you, but I’m really excited to see a new TVR in the works. Let’s just hope they don’t forget about the US market.
