Report: McLaren denies any future plans of working together on production cars with Honda

Recently, a report from MotorTrend suggested that McLaren and Honda may collaborate on some road-going projects after the two brands’ motorsports divisions reunited to work on FIA Formula 1. Though a new report is out from AutoCarUK, who apparently spoke with a McLaren insider.

The result is that McLaren has reportedly denied any future involvement with Honda in the automobile production departments.

“At the moment there is no anticipated impact on the road car division as a result of the Honda deal,” the source reportedly told AutoCarUK.

Otherwise, the current major project that McLaren is focusing on is their rumored McLaren P13, a supposed Porsche 911 Turbo rival.
