Report: Next generation Toyota Corolla to debut just before this year’s LA Auto Show

After reportedly speaking with some spokespeople, Edmunds.com reports that Toyota is planning on unveiling its all-new 2014 Corolla just before the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show later this year. Though Toyota wasn’t specific about when and where the debut would occur.

Toyota USA’s senior vice president Bob Carter apparently said that the Corolla will be available for sale by the time the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show comes around.

Word is that the next generation Toyota Corolla will take heavily from the Toyota Corolla Furia Concept, which first saw the day of light at this year’s past Detroit Auto Show.

The Toyota Corolla was really never anything worth writing home to, but if the new Corolla comes out looking like the Furia, it’ll at least be a helluva lot better looking than the current pudding of a thing that they sell today.
