Report: Lamborghini prepping to unveil its fastest supercar ever at Geneva
Australian auto publication CarAdvice.com.au reports that Lamborghini is apparently readying its fastest supercar ever for this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
According to the report, Filippo Perini, Lamborghini’s design director, slipped CarAdvice these details.

“Lamborghini will celebrate their 50th Anniversary by revealing something truly special at Geneva this year,” Perini told CarAdvice. “It will be the fastest car Lamborghini has ever produced and will be very low volume. Less than 10 cars will be produced and most of them have most likely been sold.”
And the reason why Lamborghini is doing this: “We want to shock the world with this car,” exclaimed Perini.
The most recent outrageous supercar from Lamborghini was the Aventador J, which was essentially a super-slick Aventador with no roof and virtually no windscreen either.
Lamborghini’s CEO Stephan Winkelmann even got his two cents in by saying that the brand is adamant about investing in special edition cars.
“One-offs and low volume special editions are part of Lamborghini’s DNA – they allow us to be purists,” stated Winkelmann.
“Unlike the Sesto Elemento, which was only for the track, the car to be revealed in Geneva will be homologated for the road, although it won’t be a new model,” Lamborghini’s director of R&D, Maurizio Reggiani, concluded.
