Video: Want to see what two mint early BMW 6-Series based Alpinas look like?

Bimmer fans are going to enjoy this video as I very much have. Automotive video blog Petrolicious has decided to get a close look at a very dedicated Roundel enthusiast. But even more entertaining are the two extraordinarily rare BMW E24-based Alpina coupes featured in the film.

The cars in the spotlight are two very unique Alpina cars based on the first-generation BMW E24 6-Series: an Alpina B10 3.5 and B7 S. Both have ultimately existed in numbers less than 50 examples each worldwide. And these two examples appear to be owned by this dedicated Roundel enthusiast. Dedicated, because throughout the panning shots of his shop, you can see a vast group of early model BMWs.

The E24 6-Series is one of my favorite BMWs and to see these two Alpinas running about in what appears to be near-Concours quality and albeit healthy, it’s nice to see these mint pieces of history still in action. And just listen to those modified M30 straight-sixes…

Folks, you want to be sure to turn up your volume for this one. Check it out after the jump.
