2013 Detroit: Nissan Resonance Concept shows future crossover design

Nissan unveiled a new concept today called the Resonance at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show – which apparently hints at the next-generation Murano.

“The Resonance concept leads Nissan into a new ‘innovation era’ of smart design and smart technology, ensuring that Nissan will continue its global crossover design leadership for many years to come,” said Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer had the honor of unveiling the Resonance.

The model is a crossover highlighted by unique styling elements, such as its “floating” roof crafted with thin A-pilars and a large glass panel roof, the open, airy interior structure and bold lines. The interior also gets leather with premium stitching.

Nissan’s Resonance Concept is an all-wheel drive model with a “one-motor, two-clutch” system as part of its “one-motor, two-clutch” system that combines the electric and petrol motors.
